THE LAND USE SYSTEMS OF LEMNOS ISLAND

The ‘Land Use Systems of Lemnos island’ report analyses the main land use practices and land management regimes on Lemnos, combining desk survey with the results of questionnaire-based field recordings carried out in four pilot areas of the island. Current land use systems, recorded by this report, have been formed based on the traditional agro-pastoral practices used on the island for decades.
